The Trip Leader

All of our study holidays include a group departure with a trip leader from Italy.

The trip leader is a teacher with years of experience, who accompanies the students from departure until their return home, offering support at all times for practical matters, health issues, or homesickness—24/7.

While the trip leader doesn’t teach, as the local partner school manages the language lessons with their native-speaking teachers, they remain present for any other needs that arise.

If you don’t already know your trip leader, you’ll meet them at the airport on the departure day.

The Group

Our groups usually consist of around 15 students, often from the same school or region.

If there are fewer than 15 participants, we may combine smaller groups, creating one larger group with a shared departure city, dates, and destination.

The age range of the students in a group may vary, but we always ensure that it fits the age guidelines set by the chosen center.

If siblings of different ages want to be in the same group, we can arrange that as well.

The Travel

Our group study trips are typically organized with major airline carriers.

Before departure, ensure you have all the necessary documents. Students and teachers will meet one of our representatives at the airport, who will distribute bags, tickets, and provide assistance with boarding.

Flights depart from Milan, but for groups of 15 or more, we can arrange departures from other Italian airports (with an additional cost). Please note that on certain dates, flights from smaller airports might require a stopover.

To ensure that the group stays together, all members must fly on the same flights both ways. If any part of the group’s flight deviates from the scheduled dates (exceptions will be considered case by case), no refunds will be provided.Upon arrival at the destination, students will be transported by private bus to the study center. Transfers to and from the airport are included in the price.

Returning to Italy: After the study holiday, once the students are back in Italy, the trip leader will supervise the document checks and luggage retrieval at the airport and will return the students to their parents or guardians.

Accommodation Options

The accommodation for our study holidays can be in a college, residence, host family, or hotel.

The best choice depends on the student’s age, language level, and study goals.

College: Ideal for all types of students, from young to older ones, and chosen based on location and amenities. Colleges range from university residences with private rooms and Wi-Fi to boarding schools with shared rooms and excellent sports facilities. In the US, we offer campus-style accommodations with large spaces, modern classrooms, and excellent sports facilities, though the rooms are more basic compared to European options.

Host Family: This option is for students who are at least 14 years old and are independent enough to navigate public transport and interact in a different language. Staying with a host family allows for cultural immersion and a home experience, but students should be prepared to travel on their own and may occasionally miss out on some college activities.

Hotel: In some vacation destinations, like Malta, where colleges are not available, we offer stays in student-friendly hotels. They provide a comfortable and welcoming environment but are not luxury resorts.

Free Time Activities

Learning doesn’t stop when the classes end.

Our activities leaders—young, enthusiastic, and native-speaking—organize a wide range of recreational activities, both during the day and in the evenings, to keep students engaged and entertained.

During the day, students can participate in sports tournaments like soccer, tennis, basketball, and swimming, or go on half- or full-day trips to explore museums, famous landmarks, and more. In the evenings, there are cultural and fun events such as talent shows, discos, karaoke, and more!

Language Courses

Studying a foreign language not only helps expand cultural horizons but is also a valuable skill in today’s world. Our study holidays offer top-notch language courses suited to students’ ages and levels. Courses range from beginner programs for younger children to advanced classes for older teens.

Some of our language courses include:

  • ABC Course: For young students who are starting to learn English.
  • General English Course: For middle and high school students, focusing on vocabulary and grammar.
  • Intensive English Course: For older students who want to dive deeper into the language.
  • World of Work/PCTO: A course for high school students that focuses on English for professional use.

At the end of the course, students receive a certification to acknowledge their progress.
